I've seen these people on Twitter and BlueSky who seem to think Neocities is a bunch of kids pretending to relive an era they "ever experienced" and that NeoCities is all just "nostalgia bait crap". I'm not the only one who finds that bullshit right? XD. I don't sit here and work on this website thinking "this'll be just like 2008!" I mean obviously not, and I don't intend on "pretending" to be anything. I'm me, and I like this space, because it ISN'T mainstream social media. No I don't think we're collectively gonna end Xitter, but this gives me a place to detox from the modern day social media landscape.

BTW screw NFTs, Crypto currency, and AI. ESPECIALLY AI!
